Johnny Depp may have just entered into holy matrimony with actress Amber Heard, but he's already ready to start a whole new relationship.
On Jan. 13, it was confirmed that Depp will join Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry in the new supergroup, Hollywood Vampires. Cooper also confirmed they will take the stage at the Rock in Rio festival in Sept.
"Confirmed! #RockInRio announces Debut Of #TheHollywoodVampires! The #Supergroup, featuring #AliceCooper, #JohnnyDepp and #JoePerry plays on the same night as #QueensOfTheStoneAge and #SystemOfADown," he wrote on social media.
Rolling Stone further reports that the group has recorded an album, according to the festival's website.
As the legend goes, the band is named after the party crew Cooper drank with in the mid-70s. It included John Lennon, the Who's Keith Moon, Harry Nilsson, Ringo Starr and featured players including T. Rex's Marc Bolan and Keith Allison of Paul Revere & the Raiders.
