The pop star made a dream come true for a 4-year-old fan fighting an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer Monday evening, with a FaceTime call to Jalene Salinas of San Antonio, Texas.
Swift spent 20 minutes on the phone with Salinas, whose final wish was to dance with her to "Shake It Off," Taste of Country reports via the local station KENS-TV.
"I'm so sorry you're having a bad night," the singer told the little girl, who was in pain that night. "I'm so happy to talk to you though and I'm so happy you like 'Shake It Off.' You look beautiful tonight, you really do. You're just as pretty as your pictures," Swift told Salinas.
She also took some time to comfort the young girl's mother. The San Antonio community helped get the star's attention using the hashtag #ShakeItOffJalene on Twitter. You can see some of the touching encounter below.
